What has happened these past 4 years and how the world is now in a pandemic is nothing more than another page in our History.
Four years ago many of my wonderful friends were advocating for an American leader who was a “businessman” and how that will be much better than our former “transformational man.”
You can argue these two leadership qualities especially after you read the linked articles provided but as History has shown us power can make or destroy oneself and those who have blind faith in that particular quality will be a part of that destruction or enlightenment one way or another.
So after reading these two articles linked with “businessman” and “transformational man” you may feel like an historian. Good! We all need to be a part of our world’s growth, knowledge, and community. Why, isn’t that what the beginning of time has been instilling in us? For centuries ago, the complacent neighbor lived a blind faithful existence and more than likely regretted not having a minor hold in their life’s progress.
When we bring in democracy we bring in the possibility of an asymmetric congregation. This cannot be made to attend to progress without fully understanding the processes the leadership has intended. That is not to say we all become know-it-all’s which btw, is what Social Media seems to be creating; another blog on that later, no we need our citizens to feel the faith and belief of the leadership however, more importantly, the leaders MUST TRULY continue to hold themselves to our understandings.
The blind faith leaders want their community or congregations to have is no longer to be a part of our History. Leaders of tomorrow will need to have an open book, they’ll need to be at the conference table with each and every one of their followers. We’ve announced this in the past however, as human as we are power and greed is the largest sin all humans will face. And that is where blind faith must be stricken from all ways of belief.
America is no longer the most powerful country solely based on power and greed. Not yet a communistic rule, not yet an autocratic system rule, no dictatorship, and the like. The 21st Century needs open ended democracy and we need it to work well for all; for the leader must lead but not in a place that overrules its people for these will be the people who are believing and we mustn’t destroy that belief.
Once the blindfold is placed on the people, the community, the congregation, democracy will no longer be
available to work. We cannot say run the country like a business, we must not say run the country in a socialistic manner, no we need to be open to what the country is now, has become, and what will it transform into.
